Estimados/as colegas y amigos/as de la Comunidad de Wushu de todo el Mundo,
En nombre de la Federación
Internacional de Wushu, quisiera extender mis más sinceros saludos a nuestras Asociaciones miembro en 164 países y regiones, y a los/as entusiastas del wushu en
todo el mundo, con motivo del Día Mundial del Wushu-Kungfu 2026.
El Wushu no solo es una fuerza activa dentro del Movimiento Olímpico, también un vínculo importante, que fomenta el intercambio y la integración entre las civilizaciones humanas y promueve la comprensión mutua y la afinidad entre los pueblos del mundo.
El Día Mundial del Wushu-Kungfu de este año, con el lema "Bienvenidos a los Juegos Olímpicos de la Juventud: Juntos, Muévete con el Wushu, Brilla con el Espíritu del Wushu", encarna la gran expectación de la comunidad mundial del Wushu, por el histórico debut de este deporte en los Juegos Olímpicos de la Juventud, y lanza una llamada para que el Wushu se integre, aún más, en la familia olímpica y acoja con entusiasmo a la juventud del mundo.
La juventud practicantes de Wushu de hoy, la nueva generación que lleva adelante el legado del wushu y practicantes del espíritu olímpico, están aprovechando la oportunidad histórica que representa la entrada del Wushu en los Juegos Olímpicos de la Juventud. Esta Juventud tienen la importante responsabilidad de transmitir y promover el Wushu en esta nueva era.
El escenario es inmenso y su potencial es ilimitado.
Esperamos ver a los atletas de Wushu de los cinco continentes
esforzarse con determinación, buscar la excelencia y mostrar el encanto único
del Wushu en el escenario olímpico.
A partir de hoy tan solo quedan 84 días para el debut del Wushu en los Juegos Olímpicos de la Juventud de Dakar.
Unamos nuestras manos, demos lo mejor de nosotros y celebremos juntos este momento histórico, que quedará grabado en los anales.
Con el wushu como
puente y su debut olímpico como catalizador, contribuyamos con mayor fuerza
al floreciente desarrollo del Movimiento Olímpico y a la construcción de una
comunidad con un futuro compartido para la humanidad.

Dear Colleagues and Friends of the Global Wushu
Community,
On behalf of the International Wushu Federation, I would
like to extend my most sincere greetings to our member associations across 164
countries and regions, and to wushu enthusiasts worldwide, on the occasion of
World Wushu-Kungfu Day 2026!
Wushu is not only an active force within the Olympic
Movement, but also an important bond that enhances exchanges and integration
among human civilizations and promotes mutual understanding and affinity among
the people of the world. This year's World Wushu-Kungfu Day, themed
"Welcome Youth Olympics – Together, Move with Wushu, Shine with Wushu
Spirit" embodies the eager anticipation of the global wushu community for
the sport's historic Youth Olympic debut, and sounds a resounding call of our
time for wushu to further integrate into the Olympic family and warmly embrace
the youth of the world. As the new generation carrying forward the legacy of
wushu and as practitioners of the Olympic spirit, today's wushu youth are
embracing the historic opportunity of wushu's entry into the Youth Olympic
Games. They bear the important responsibility of passing on and advancing wushu
in this new era. The stage is vast, and their potential is limitless. We look
forward to seeing wushu athletes from five continents strive with
determination, pursue excellence, and showcase the unique charm of wushu on the
Olympic stage.
Today, there are only 84 days left until wushu’s debut at
the Dakar Youth Olympic Games. Let us join hands and unite as one, go all out,
and together greet this historic moment that will be recorded in the annals of
time. With wushu as our bridge and its Youth Olympic debut as our catalyst, let
us contribute even greater wushu strength to the flourishing development of the
Olympic Movement and to the building of a community with a shared future for
mankind!
